The short version: no AI was used in the writing on this site.
In more words: I use AI extensively to write code. It’s astonishingly useful for the work I do: simple codebases, common languages, greenfield projects. Coding, for me, is a means to an end.
That said, I loathe AI-created text. I hate that the internet has become full of slop. I’ve complained about this at length. If I could put the AI genie back in the bottle, I would.
And, as I have written, I don’t use AI in my writing. Above all because I simply don’t find it useful.
